Note 1. The 60m transmission has been added to provide linking for manual relay stations..NO CallBacks !! on this frequency as it is currently within the Commercial Frequency Allocation. Be careful when tuning to this transmission as contrary to normal HAM procedures below 10MHz, this service is on Upper Sideband. Details HERE

 VK2WI Morse Transmissions

    The Morse transmissions from VK2WI on 3699 KHz are continuous except for during the Sunday broadcast periods when it and most of the sites beacons are shut down automatically to minimize interference to the broadcasts and those listening to them. On Sunday the 23rd of June the 3699 KHz morse transmitter was replaced by a new solid state unit. It operates into a half wave dipole with about 35 watts. The new transmitter was designed and constructed by Mark VK2XOF the VK2WI station engineer. Reports are welcomed, send via mail or email.
