Australian Satellite Enthusiasts Group
       

     The Australian Satellite Enthusiasts Group (Ozsatgroup) is a forum for all amateur operators, SWL’ers, and radio hobbyists, who enjoy working or listening to satellite and space based radio systems. We welcome all who are interested in discussing and exploring this fascinating branch of amateur radio.

     The group is operated via a Yahoo group, and includes; a mailing list, shared calendar - used for making satellite sched's, photo library and downloads area. We are also planning a group net.

Blue Mountains Amateur Radio Club (BMARC)

Meetings

       Regular
meetings are on the First Friday of each Month at
the new premises in Simeon Road, Orchard Hills to share the facilities with the NSW Volunteer Rescue Association, generally known as the VRA. Check out the clubs website for details on getting there.

BMARC "Winterfest"- Saturday 22nd August 2009 (new date)
      The Blue Mountains Amateur Radio Club's 2009 WINTERFEST  will be held on the 22nd August at the new Orchard Hills premises, much more room and easy to get to.

Training : Terry Riley VK2UX conducts classes in Amateur Radio Theory, Regulations and CW for anyone interested in becoming an Amateur Radio Operator.

Central Coast Amateur Radio Club Inc. (CCARC)

About the Club

            The club is the focal point for Amateur Radio activities on the Central Coast of NSW. The CCARC was formed in 1957. The club has it’s own clubrooms with a well-equipped radio room (shack) in their Clubhouse at Dandaloo St, Kariong, near Gosford.  They also operate several Voice, Amateur Television and Packet (data) repeaters.            
           The club also supports the Police Youth and Citizens Club’s Amateur Radio room at Umina and the annual Scout and Guides Jamboree On The Air (JOTA) held in October. The P.C.Y.C. Station at Umina has moved into new premises so listen in on Thursday evenings and Saturdays.

Chifley Amateur Radio Club
      

Meetings

    Just a reminder for members and visitors, that the Chifley Amateur Radio Club is open every Saturday from 1:30pm. So if you have an interest in amateur radio, electronics or associated fields you are most welcome to drop in.
    Meetings are mostly a social gathering and general chin wag, with a business meeting held bi-monthly.
     So instead of mowing that lawn take a few hours off and come on down to the club rooms next Saturday meet some new people, catch up with some old faces, play radio or just have a chat.

Meeting Place
   
The Chifley Amateur Radio Club is located in the grounds of the Good Shepard School in Hyatts Rd Plumpton. Just enter through the gates opposite the Big-W garden centre. So remember the club rooms are open on Saturdays from 1:30pm. Hope to see you there.

Repeaters
    The Chifley Amateur Radio Club operate repeaters on 147.075 and 439.425 with 70cm requiring a 123hz tone for access, this repeater also has the clubs IRLP node of 6050.

Coffs Harbour and Districts Amateur Radio Club
                    

Meetings
    
The Club hold regular meetings on every Monday night at 7:00pm and on every Thursday morning at 10:00am. They are held at our club house which is in the Rex Hardaker oval, right next to the football field along Hogbin Drive just north of Sawtell.

So you want to join our club!
     Everyone is welcome to join, it doesn't matter if you have an amateur license or not, everyone with an interest in radio is welcome. There are two types of membership. You must have a valid amateur radio license to qualify for full membership. Anyone can join as an associate member.

Meetings
     The club meets on the last Wednesday of each month (except December) at Campbelltown Performing Arts High School.
Meetings run from 7:00pm to around 9:00pm. Guests and prospective new members are always welcome.

Take the Beverly St entrance then enter the last gate on the left.
Go to M Block, up the stairs and the second door on the right.

Gladesville Amateur Radio Club
                 

       Main activities are Amateur Television (ATV). The Gladesville Amateur Radio Club, Inc., located in Sydney (Australia), provides a service to Amateur Radio operators and the general community, by promoting Education and Amateur Radio through the use of Amateur Television.

Transmissions
Wednesday: LIVE transmission from 7:30pm
Sunday:   Starting at 7pm. The transmission includes a relay of the
               VK2WI News.
     Each test transmission is preceded by a test card for about half an hour.
     Occasional transmissions are made via satellite, to various areas across Australia.
