The annual Barrington Tops Search and Rescue Exercise, or SAREX, run by the Bush Walkers Wilderness Rescue Squad will be held on the 16th & 17th of October 2010.

 

WICEN will provide communications support for those participating in this practical search exercise, which has the ultimate goal of locating the missing Cessna, VH-MDX.

The 30th Shahzada Horse Enduro, 23rd to the 27th of August.

 

Trek for Timor on the 18th & 19th of September.

 

Brookvale Endurance Ride in the ACT on the 19th of September.

 

Hawkesbury Canoe Classic on the 23rd and 24th of October.

 

Fitz's Challenge bike ride in the ACT on the 7th of November

 

Of possible interest to members is an Advanced and remote area First Aid course being offered by the Bushwalkers Wilderness Rescue Squad, one of our sister VRA squads during October. Visit www.bwrs.org.au for further details.
