radio hobbyists, who enjoy working or listening to satellite and space
based radio systems.

About the Club
The club is the focal point
for Amateur Radio activities on the Central Coast of NSW. The CCARC was
formed in 1957. The club has it’s own clubrooms with a well-equipped
radio room (shack) in their Clubhouse at Dandaloo St, Kariong, near
Gosford. They also operate several Voice, Amateur Television and Packet
(data) repeaters.
The club
also supports the Police Youth and Citizens Club’s Amateur Radio room at
Umina and the annual Scout and Guides Jamboree On The Air (JOTA) held in
October. The P.C.Y.C. Station at Umina has moved into new premises so
listen in on Thursday evenings and Saturdays.

Chifley
Amateur Radio Club

Meetings
Just a
reminder for members and visitors, that the Chifley
Amateur Radio Club is open every Saturday from 1:30pm. So
if you have an interest in amateur radio, electronics or
associated fields you are most welcome to drop in.
Meetings are mostly a social gathering and general chin
wag, with a business meeting held bi-monthly.
So instead of mowing that lawn take a few hours off and
come on down to the club rooms next Saturday meet some
new people, catch up with some old faces, play radio or
just have a chat.
Meeting Place
The Chifley Amateur Radio Club is located in the grounds
of the Good Shepard School in Hyatts Rd Plumpton. Just
enter through the gates opposite the Big-W garden centre. So remember the club rooms are open on Saturdays
from 1:30pm. Hope to see you there.

The Chifley Amateur Radio Club operate repeaters on
147.075 and 439.425 with 70cm requiring a 123hz tone for
access, this repeater also has the clubs IRLP node of
6050.

The Club hold regular meetings on every Monday night at 7:00pm and
on every Thursday morning at 10:00am. They are held at our club house
which is in the Rex Hardaker oval, right next to the football field

Main activities are Amateur
Television (ATV). The Gladesville Amateur Radio Club, Inc., located
in Sydney (Australia), provides a service to Amateur Radio operators and
the general community, by promoting Education and Amateur Radio through
the use of Amateur Television.
Transmissions
Wednesday: LIVE transmission from 7:30pm
Friday: Repeat of Wednesday's transmission, starting at 7pm
Saturday: Transmission from 8pm to 10pm approx. Details of
the evening's
transmission appear on the test card
preceding the transmission.
Sunday: Starting at 7pm. The transmission includes a relay of the
VK2WI
News.
Each test transmission is preceded by a test card for about half an
hour.
Occasional transmissions are made via satellite, to various areas across

Hornsby and
Districts
Amateur Radio Club (HADARC)

Meetings
The Club usually meets at 8 pm on the 4th Tuesday of each month at
the Community Centre, Pierre Close, Mount Colah (just to the east
of the pedestrian bridge outside the
entrance to the railway station), and visitors are always most
welcome. At this meeting there is usually a talk on a radio-related
topic, together with Club business.
On the 2nd Tuesday of each month there is an informal gathering and
workshop, when Club members bring along equipment to be tested, and
group construction projects are discussed etc. The more experienced
members are available to give advice and help with equipment problems
and operating skills.
HADARC radio nets
The Clubs VHF / UHF net is at 8:00pm on Monday evenings, using the Clubs
repeaters, 147.250 and 439.975 MHz. The HF nets are on 3608.5 kHz at
8:00pm Wednesday, and on 7104 kHz on Fridays at 9:00am. Listen for
VK2MA. The beginners' CW net is on Thursday nights at 8:00pm, with
Harry VK2BOL and/or Andy VK2EAH, with liaison on the repeaters.

Hunter Radio Group
The evening
net commences at 7.30 pm. The VK2AWX net covers the
State on 3593 kHz on 80 metres and to the Newcastle
region on 10 and 2 metres, 70 and 23 centimeters. Part of

from the VK2WI session.

The Illawarra Amateur Radio Society has a new venue
for Monthly Meetings at The Visitors Centre, Industry World.
You can find the Australia's
Industry World (AIW) Visitor Centre at the BlueScope Steel,
Northgate Entrance, Springhill Rd,
Coniston.
The entrance is marked
with extremely large Australian and BlueScope Steel flags.
Road and rail access are easy.
Road connections, via the
F6 Freeway and the Princes Highway, are fast and reliable with fine
views over the Royal National Park and the Northern Illawarra beaches.
From the North,
take the Master's Rd exit into Springhill Rd or travel down Corrimal St
from the Wollongong Central Business District.
Coming from the South,
take the Port Kembla exit from the F6 and turn right into Five Islands
Rd then the first left into Springhill Rd.
The
rail journey to Port Kembla from Sydney is comfortable, with
spectacular views. The nearest railway station to the venue is
Coniston, just south of Wollongong. To walk from Coniston Station to the
Visitor Centre may take 15-20 minutes.

The Mid North Coast Amateur Radio Group was formed in March
2007 by a small group of amateur radio enthusiasts who wanted to do
something positive for the amateur radio community in their area.
Everyone is welcome. All you need is an interest in amateur

Meetings
The Club is located in the Orange district
of NSW. Meetings are held on the first Friday of each month

Amateur Radio Club (TADARC)
Meetings
The Club meetings on the first Tuesday of each month
(except January) at 7:30pm and are usually held at Taree TAFE College,

Room, Upper Floor, Block"A". It is the first building you come to as you
drive into the college grounds.

Meetings
Regular meetings are held
on the 3rd Wednesday evening of each month at 7:30pm. A number of us
have a meal at the Bistro in the RSL Club next door before the evening
meeting (about 6pm) where food is good and reasonably priced. The clubhouse
is also open in the afternoon of the 1st Saturday of
every month, when work may be carried out to improve the
club's amenities and to fix members radio gear. As well,
some just go along for a ragchew or to operate the club
station.

Waverley's clubhouse is
located in the Scout Hall at Vickery Avenue, Rose Bay,
behind the RSL Club on New South Head Road; it is easy to
find and there is plenty of parking space in the grounds.

latter with an IRLP facility, both requiring CTCSS 123Hz due to QRM.
The IRLP Node number is 6250. The club has recently started a net at
8:00pm every weekday on our 2m repeater.
